Furthermore, I feel some of your topics are using the devel list
incorrectly and I believe this to be one of them.
If you want general support for conflicting PC resources, it is probably
best to be placed in a message board.
The lmms.io message boards are low traffic so I'm not sure how much
progress you'll make with them, but the KVR boards (for example) would have
a higher likelihood of people with DAWs and competing sound devices.
In the Linux landscape, there is generally no surprise when two separate
applications fight over a hardware device, but in Windows it is much less
common. I don't think what you are experiencing is unique, but I also
don't think anyone on this list has your combination of Legacy OS, "sh****"
ISP, and concurrent usage scenario.
