not sure if this is relevant. It depends on how much work has been done to accomendate more vst-formats already?? But.. What if lmms did not save the vst-controllers, eg -that pesty binary-string in the vst-block, that all too often bloats to absurd size, and is unuseable for lmms, at re-open, but instead saved the lmms-contollers, eg: <http://linux-multimedia-studio-lmms.996328.n3.nabble.com/file/n11588/Synth1_dial_array.png>
Those controllers are native to lmms, and should always be possible to save -right? Then the various ways vst's are builded, would be transparent in respect to how lmms saved data in the mmp, and the bin-string could be omitted Is this silly..? -- View this message in context: http://linux-multimedia-studio-lmms.996328.n3.nabble.com/a-silly-thought-in-context-of-vst-usage-tp11588.html Sent from the lmms-devel mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Dive into the World of Parallel Programming.
