The copy/paste functionality of LMMS has some caveats, one of which does
not allow you to copy more than one pattern at a time from the playlist
window.
This is a feature that many have been hoping for, but is unavailable at
this time.
Please continue using LMMS, and feel free to file enhancement requests on
