No. At the moment it isn't supposed to do anything more than show you  
where the scale/chord notes are. The notes will not change unless you  
click move them around.

Yes, the twelve-tone equal tempered scale, of which all those other  
available scales are subsets. And then again no, if you use Zyn for  
the instruments that need other tunings.

Yes. Except that you don't change the scale of a TRACK or some NOTES,  
you change the scale that is shown in the EDITOR. Think of the scale  
like guide lines in a drawing program; they are there so you can align  
your objects to something, but you're still free to put them in between.
