The registering problems is for the 'LMMS sharing platform':

It's specially developed for sharing LMMS related materials. It's
probably hard to recreate those functions without the developers right
now (just guessing).
The LMMS forum is here <https://sourceforge.net/apps/phpbb/lmms/> and
it's kind of working right now, even though it's not maintained or
moderated.
