so too can the output/input selection dialogue at the bottom of the 
mixer strip in the arranger window. with 40 channels of i/o i have to 
use the dedicated mixer window, 'cause the track mixer window device 
list extends out of sight with no way of moving it. i can move the mixer 
window up so to reveal the longer list of devices. still like to see the 
options listed i the original post ;)
