Thanks. The posted log is tantalizingly too vague. I'm not sure what's happening in it. It seems to be playing then gets stuck. (Dennis, the '0' at the start of the lines is the position index - that's fine.) According to the numbers and params shown, I tried to follow how this might happen but couldn't see it. Possible suspect: Our dummy audio driver, which I radically changed about a year or two ago. Or the midi thread... I tested last night with ALSA and no Jack, loading a complex file playing and whipping the cursor around quickly. No trouble. Any unusual settings? Like a really high ASLA or RTC timer frequency?
