Yes, when you turn the sync off again, the 'Master' button is off and 
 the tempo reverts to the 'manual' value of 120 (which is a separate 
 adjustable value).

Simply turn the Master back on.

We should keep a memory of the Master button state when sync is 
 turned on and restore whenever sync is turn off.
I think I tried once but may have been complicated.
