If you're setting up a forum on your own server, MyBB is highly recommended
by many. On the Audacity forum we are currently using phpBB which is
reliable and reasonably secure, but we are considering changing to MyBB as
it appears to have several advantages, particularly for customizing and
maintaining securely. These days, having good anti-spam tools is essential.
