I cloned calf plugins from git and got the same close gui
crash as
Robert. After some debugging I found error in my code:
dl handle for ui library was closed before destroying gtk
widget. That
was the source of crash.
Now it's fixed. Changes are pushed to master :).

Test done, playing live through MusE, and it worked like a charm!

Got my performance issues mostly under control also, running 6
channels audio + effects (compressors, gate, reverb, eq and vocoder)
through MusE and a firewire audio card with 128x2 periods on a
core2duo laptop, good stuff!
I'll also try to make something heavy this weekend to perform a
stress-test :)
