The installation archive file of MuSE 2.2.1 contains the file "README".
This file contains among other things this information:

- make sure MusE can set the rtc clock:
echo 8192 > /proc/sys/dev/rtc/max-user-freq
inspect with:
cat /proc/sys/dev/rtc/max-user-freq

In my Ubuntu 14.04.2 installation I do not have the file
/proc/sys/dev/rtc/max-user-freq
But I have this file:
/proc/sys/dev/hpet/max-user-freq
Is this the file in which I need to put into the value "8192"?
Currently, the file /proc/sys/dev/hpet/max-user-freq contains the value
"64"
