A big MusE drum roll please...
* ALSA support is now OPTIONAL !
* MusE can now be built as a PURE Jack application !
- Also fixed some problems with various config combinations of
DSSI, liblo, and ALSA support.
Note: I tested this: The smaller DSSI ALSA Compatibility package is
NOT suitable for our DSSI support. It's old, and missing some stuff :-(
Thus you will not be able to build MusE with DSSI support without
the FULL ALSA package.
Please give it a workout as several key areas were touched,
including the midi engine, thread, timer, and midi sync features.
One spot in particular that may need some checking is ALSA or Jack
MIDI Clock Sync, and recording external tempo changes.
I must test it to see if I broke anything ;-)
The Jack midi clock support was never finished properly anyway,
maybe time to do so...
For configuration and building, I tested several combinations of
enabled or detected ALSA, DSSI, and OSC support.
Tested OK so far.
