Hi everyone.
I am certainly looking forward to talking with all of you. I am adding a few
more people to the thread, my OSM US board colleague Alyssa, Miriam Gonzalez
who is really active in the Mexico community and will be at SOTM also, and
Drishtie Patel, fellow OSM US board member who is connected with OSM centered
groups from Africa and India that are looking to organize themselves.
I just wanted to mention the talk that Alyssa and I will be doing, with video
contributions from the rest of the OSM US board, about how we ‘run’ our chapter
in the US. It is on Saturday at 3pm local time, . All my
OSM US board members are excited to learn from other chapters and groups around
the world.
Looking forward to seeing you all in Brussels!Martijn

Alessandro as I replied on the panel comment, I think several meetings are
great -- we could have a BoF, a get together at the social. There is also the
State of Local panel at 10am on Sunday morning. Will be great to meet you and
see everyone!
There will be attendees from 52 different countries at State of the Map. A good
number of them will be involved in organizing their local community. I think we
can develop some really guide ideas together.
Maning, we're going to aim to take good notes from these conversations, and
pass off the baton to you all in SotM Asia.

 Hi Eugene,
I'm Alessandro, Simone's fellow in OpenStreetMap Italia.

I've just write a comment on 'cause it's a
good thing talk amongs communities, but I'd rather starting to talk friday
or saturday with a more informal meeting. I don't know how many people
involved in local chapter are going to attend SOTM, if we are more than a
few 75' could be a little time.
