A few months ago, and even last year, I reported our growing concern
about this guy Francisco (renting ubuntu DOT cl) doing some things we
considered way far from the Ubuntu and Ubuntero spirit. Well, it turns
out that nowadays this guy has started selling @ubuntu DOT cl email
address for about U$25.

Personally, he could do whatever he wants for a biz purpose BUT use
the Ubuntu brand nor the Canonical one.
It is inevitable that people (esp. those new comers) fall for this and
are mislead. Actually, many even ask him where they can buy the Ubuntu
t-shirts we, as a LoCo are making.
We have invited Francisco many times to work and participated with us,
in the Chilean LoCo. We have even offered to pay for his ubuntu DOT cl
rent but he's just not into anything regarding Ubuntu, just taking
advantage of the brand.
Actually, he only accepted to stop using Ubuntu DOT cl only if we pay
about U$2,000 (and that was 2 years ago).

This would be the 1st time I bring this to the LoCo list attention,
but it is the 3rd or 4th email I send to Canonical people.

So far, never got a "current status" or "action plan" from Canonical on this.

Is there anything we could do?
