/me puts the loco council hat on over here for a while... Hello Benjamin, Could you please let us know what do you mean by out of the box thinking here and provide us an example so that we can improve? Secondly, we are on the process of streamlining some of the processes to lessen the load we have now and an effort to make more LoCo's more active and trying to support them and push them in every regard. Some of them include: Relaxing of the current approval process and rebranding the same, so loco teams who are verified will continue to be verified until and unless they fail to turn up on email or bugs we raise internally or even for the meeting in 2 years after a relaxation period included (Say if they wont turn up even after 1 month from the end of a 2 year cycle, teams will become unverified. 1 month (lets say) is kept as a relaxation time in case they experience delays in putting up their progress. Extending loco teams to big cities: We are in progress of empowering bigger cities with a large user base to have their own loco teams so that infrastructure and help reaches them quicker enough mostly and we are collecting relavant data and information and we are working towards the same. Apart from that we are trying to assist on any things that loco's come up with when they do reach us (it might be leadership issues or infrastructure support or any matters that concerns the Loco's) So I feel that change cannot be very radical enough to turn over things in a single day, but its a continuous process rather. and as the loco council we are trying our level best to bring in changes for the good wherever it matters and the same might take some time to come into effect (maybe weeks or months) but our honest efforts are continuously there to bring changes for the good. Just a thought, Regards, -- loco-contacts mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/loco-contacts
