Would CMake as the only build system satisfy the needs of Windows folk? Having two build systems (autotools+Ant or autotools+another) is asking for trouble and incompatibilities. I've spent enough time hacking Autotools and have enough of an interest in learning CMake that I would be willing to sign up (after I finish my interminable thesis) to porting the autotools system to CMake. - Rhys
