Hello Rohan, unfortunately there is no committer working on this project, me being an exception with overseeing this lists. The problem is the original creators of this code are gone and so far we were not able to identify people who are willing to carry on. Before a while we have discussed how to proceed with this project. While it seems there is a user base it also seems there is no one willing to actually invest the time and for example deal with releasing this project. If there are such people, I would support moving the project to the Apache Incubator (incubator.apache.org) and help folks to learn about our procedures. Of course with the goal in mind to come back to logging.apache.org finally.
