No, there were a lot of people who said "i would write a patch or two".
But to my knowledge there was nobody who said "I am willing to stick
with the project and create a release".
If I missed this, please let me know.

The problem is, I am not familiar enough with C++. I can't say
anything from technology point of view,
just from a formal one, and this is...

If we have >= 3 ppl who are willing to stick with log4cxx, learn about
apache and
ready to push out a new release I am willing to champion the incubation and
stay as a mentor until the project is ready to live on its own again.
