Indeed we are. It's still in the conception stage at this point. We're
still trying to get a better grip on the best way to exploit JMX in log4j.

Wouldn't it be useful to be able to modify the category priorities while a
program is running?
I'm thinking about add some features of the Java Management eXtensions
(http://java.sun.com/products/JavaManagement/) specification into log4j.
