LOG4J Mail Example

Hello,

Does anybody have a working example of a program using LOG4J to send emails for
error and fatal error messsages ?
I was trying to use SMTPAppender to achive this but got strange error messages.
An example of a working program (may be with the related configuration file)
will probably help.
