Not to my knowledge, there are no Java exporters. Jade (the Docbook) exporter exists 
on linux and Windows. It should be possible to compile jade (written in C) on other 
platforms as well. 

I am not worried about platform independence for doc building. The vast majority of 
people just read the documentation. Only very few people write it, let alone build it.
