I have stated in my previous posts and I'll state it again. I would
welcome any improvements to the basic (ASF licensed) project
documentation.

On the question of another committer, or anyone else for that matter,
authoring a competing book on log4j, it would be given equal footing
wherever log4j related books were mentioned.
