Great :) I know of the edit menu functionallity - but it is just to cumbersome to use - hence im adding a panel where one can enter the criteria directly.
And yes, i'm also going to use the existing filtering model to as much extent as possible. I'll put my the finishing touch on the patch as soon as possible and post the patch to the list.
