I suggest you (log4j committers) to add the "mailing list link" (http://jakarta.apache.org/site/mail2.html#log4j) to left-side-navi of each pages. This can be done by appending the info to src/xdocs/stylesheets/project.xml -- I think these above will more or less reduce the newbieism ;-) # Jakarta-POI Team has already introduced these approaching methods.
