1. I suggest you (log4j committers) to change the message trailer
(footer) of each mails to:

=========================(CUT HERE)==================================
------------------------------------------------------------------
To unsubscribe,  e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Mailing List:      http://jakarta.apache.org/site/mail2.html#log4j
The Apache Jakarta Log4J Project: http://jakarta.apache.org/log4j/

Mailing List:      http://jakarta.apache.org/site/mail2.html#log4j
The Apache Jakarta Log4J Project: http://jakarta.apache.org/log4j/
=====================================================================

This can be done by asking infra team to do so.

2. I suggest you (log4j committers) to add the "mailing list link"
(http://jakarta.apache.org/site/mail2.html#log4j) to left-side-navi
of each pages. This can be done by appending the info to
src/xdocs/stylesheets/project.xml

# Jakarta-POI Team has already introduced these approaching methods.
