It's hard to tell if you're in a minority of hating the JCL name.  Others
might, I totally believe it.  But they *recognize* it, and that's important.

Perception is not everything. Reality is at least as important as perception. Moreover, not all recognition is good. For example, take McDonalds as a widely recognized brand which is not associated with quality. Few volunteer developers want to spend their time creating crappy products let alone be associated with them. As a volunteer open source developer, you strive for quality. We all do.

Because you're part of the team that put together UGLI, and there are other
people not on the UGLI team who'd like to contribute.
