The zip contains the appender src, some testcases and required libs (JDOM,log4j 1.3 alpha7 and ROME). The appender outputs log events to an RSS or ATOM feed. It can deal with the enclosing XML tags and recreate a feed from scratch or append to an existing file. It supports rudimentary event buffering and configurable event/entry mapping. The Appender works with Java 1.3/1.4. The details of the underlying feed formats are delegated down to ROME - https://rome.dev.java.net. (Apache V2), which is turn uses JDOM - http://www.jdom.org/.
