http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=39963 ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2007-01-29 14:50 ------- There could be a decent amount of Apache process involved in integrating this into the log4j project itself if it is the work of more than one developer. To bring it into log4j (likely through an intermediary sandbox project), we'd want to have a reasonable expectation that it would continue to be developed in Logging Services and not be either a drop of an abandoned code base or a branch of code that continues to evolve externally. If you are still interested in pursuing a contribution of this code, the scope of it such that having a Contributors License Agreement (http://www.apache.org/licenses) on file would be highly desirable and the submission should follow the requirements on http:// www.apache.org/legal/src-headers.html. Alternatively, the log4j web site could list this appender in the list of third-party appenders. In addition, perhaps it would be better to have a PersistenceAdapter that would abstract the common elements of an Hibernate, iBatis, et al based appender. -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
