It would be very useful to be able to have SyslogAppender be able to log to a
local UNIX domain socket (ie /dev/log). (Apparently most syslogds aren't able
to bind only to localhost so in order to get logs from syslogappender they have
to listen on all interfaces which can cause security problems.)
