I custom levels serving a different purpose, more like a DSL, for example
DEFCON1 through DEFCON5, Hurricane force 1 through 5, and so on. I do not see
custom levels as a way to "fill in the blanks" between existing Log4j levels.
But that's just me. I still see the need for more refined logging levels,
especially for levels between INFO and DEBUG, and between DEBUG and TRACE.
Side note: I would not consider a new level for flow logging because markers
are a perfect fit for this.
