Luigi, thanks for that information.
If you set {{<Configuration status="trace" >}} in the first line of your
configuration file, Log4j 2 will output debug information to the console. This
includes initialization information, as well as details of how Log4j processes
a rollover.
Can you capture this output and post it here? I am not sure if the problem
happens during initialization or during rollover, so the full output would be
best.
