Hi, There's no such thing. There's 1.2.8 and HEAD, and they're different. You basically can't compile 1.2.8 from CVS HEAD as there's too much 1.3 stuff there.
I see in your other message that you've managed to get CVS to work, so I'll provide more details in response to that one.
