That is the way I always thought it worked. Then why does WAS remain intent on prepending C:\Program Files\WebSphere\AppServer? Sigh.

Has anyone successfully deployed Log4j on Websphere? I cannot find the right solution for the DOCTYPE SYSTEM path. The problem is getting Websphere to stop prepending a path to the setting. The dtd is located in the same folder as the xml file that references it. WEB-INF being that folder. As an example, the following <!DOCTYPE log4j:configuration SYSTEM "log4j.dtd"> produces java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\Program Files\WebSphere\AppServer\log4j.dtd (The system cannot find the file specified) Thanks, SP --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
