Likely best just to add a TimeFilter and not try to overload  
ExpressionFilter and do regex tricks to get time ranges.  Eventually,  
I'd see ExpressionFilter be replaced with a script filter using the  
scripting interface provided in JDK 6, so there is no real need to  
add many more bells and whistles to ExpressionFilter.
