It is only in the SVN, I haven't cut another release candidate.
Install a JDK 1.4 or later, download Maven 2.0.7 (http://
maven.apache.org) and unpack, and check out the source from:
svn co https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/logging/log4j/companions/
extras/trunk extras
cd extras
mvn test
and there will be an apache-log4j-extras-1.0-SNAPSHOT.jar in the
target directory.
