stable version?

Is there an expected release timeframe for a stable version of log4net? 
I've used 1.2.0 beta 8 almost since it was released July 15, 2003. Was 
that a stable version? Is the current 1.2.9 beta to be considered "stable"?

Sorry if this is an annoying question, but I'm honestly confused.
