PROGRAM The list of speakers having accepted our invitation to give a talk at the Congress has been updated. It is available at: http://www.clmps2011.org/en/program/ Please also note that the program of special sessions, which is still to be completed, is available at: http://www.clmps2011.org/en/program/special-sessions.html CALL FOR AFFILIATED MEETINGS (on behalf of Peter Schroeder-Heister - Chair, General Programme Committee of LMPS 2011) On repeated requests, we offer the possibility of affiliated symposia running parallel to the LMPS programme. Unlike special symposia (with invited speakers) and contributed symposia (as described on the submission page of the congress), they do not belong to the official programme of the congress. However, they will be announced on the conference webpages, and the congress organizers will arrange for appropriate facilities (rooms etc.). Affiliated symposia must meet the following conditions: 1. The programme must be approved by the GPC. 2. Each participant (speaker or not) of the affiliated symposium must be a registered participant of the LMPS congress. 3. The symposium is open to all participants of the LMPS congress. 4. The length of an affiliated symposium should not exceed one full day or two half-days. Proposals for affiliated symposia should be sent by e-mail directly to the GPC chair, Peter Schroeder-Heister, using the following e-mail-address: [email protected]. They should include the names and e-mail addresses of the organizer(s) and the speakers of the symposium with links to their homepages, a description of the aim and scope of the symposium as well as short abstracts of the planned talks. The deadline for proposals is 31 December 2010. Once the affiliated symposium is accepted, its organizer(s) should set up a symposium hompepage with all relevant information, to which the CLMPS organizers would install a link from the congress webpage. FINANCIAL HELP Funds may be available to help people with particular difficulties in coming to the Congress, though in a limited number of cases. For any demand, please send a message justifying your request to: [email protected]. Details about the kind of help we may offer will be available on the Congress website very soon. ACCOMMODATION // HALL OF RESIDENCE A document concerning accommodation in hall of residence will be available very soon. It will provide detailed information about prices, the various kinds of rooms, and services. People choosing to stay in a hall of residence during the congress will be contacted directly by the LOC. MEDIA The final version of the Congress poster is now available for downloading on the Program page (pdf, A3, 1,16 Mo). Please do not hesitate to print it for display or forward it around you.
