Thanks for the info.  I will go ahead and install Parabola, since I've
used Arch before and am familiar with the distribution.  I also noticed
that the Parabola doco for 2F is pretty self-explanatory, so I'll start
from there.

One last thing, if possible, could you post your example /boot/boot.cfg
entry?
