Could you please re-read http://www.lpcolorado.org/conv2004/Bylaws-Art8-Sect2.html and write some that is either pro or con? I think that you have bias that would allow you to only create a con point of view, which is fine. -- pt
Article VIII, Section 2 - membership PROs: If the SOS records are "the last word" in whether or not someone can vote in primaries, for example, it is their data we have to use to confirm. Libertarians may have to work harder at checking that registrations are right, due to some hard examples of registrations being "lost" or recorded incorrectly. I have made the clerk's office give me my registration number, and initial it before I walked out, when checking to be sure the registration was still in place. Libertarians should be watching their own backs to be sure the SOS has the correct information. CONs: If a particular county has bias, or does not allow Libertarian registration, this disenfranchises Libertarians there.
