It is. I'm an author and most publishers want me to
use Microsoft Word when writing my Linux books.

I agree and that's exactly what I do. My first draft is HTML.
But for my last book, the editor converted the HTML to
Word and marked-up the Word document. At that point, I was
forced to to use Word - and the process became far more
difficult and time-consuming. I'll be doing more self-
publishing from now on.
