I need t take on-line exam next week, can someone help me to pass LPI 101 and 102

I bought two inexpensive PII boxes and set up one with Debian, one with Cent. Then I went through the detailed objectives on the LPI site one by one. I read the man pages for any command I wasn't already familiar with and practiced configuration on my test boxes. I also read through the IBM site and practiced anything I was unsure about. I took the practice tests that are listed on lpi.org (linuxpraxis and another one whose name I forget right now) and brushed up on things I hadn't done in awhile, like subnetting. As always, the man pages, the HOW-TO's, and google are excellent resources.

My method might be overkill, but it went a long way to preparing me for the next level of tests. I really like the fact that preparation for the test was so inexpensive. In the spirit of open-source, everything you need is readily available. No over-priced courses are necessary and you don't need access to any expensive hardware. _______________________________________________
