hi,

the number one thing for me was accessibility/affordability, the other Linux
certifications were way out of my price league and I wanted to learn for fun
not profit.

In the job interviews I have had since, the simple fact that I wanted to learn
more about Linux has gotten me always to a job offer and none of the jobs
were linux based !

Long live people interested in taking the LPI vendor neutral exams !

Regards

Rob
