My deepest apologies.  I made an error (as Matt said in a subsequent post I didn't read the post closely).  See below:

Sorry, but what makes you say this? I thought Scott was quite clear
but I prompted him about this last week and still await his answer.

I'm a little worried because for me there may be a chance that I will
not attempt the 202 "old style" exam before April 2009. Scott appeared
to say I would be able to take the "old style" 202 after April 2009.
As he is a high-up in the LPI (his sig and @lpi.org) I took his answer
to be authoritative.

Please someone from LPI clear this up.

Cheers,
Imran

Imran:

Matt is correct.  Sorry to cause confusion.  This was my error.  I include our exchange below.
In my haste I saw the word "revision" and not 2006 in your post.  Therefore I thought you were refering to the revised exam which will be launched April 1, 2009.

On exam matters as Matt is Director of Product Development his comments usually trump mine anyhow.  In this instance I was definitely in error.  Fortunately Matt caught it.

Anyone wanting to take the old 202 exam should do so before April 1, 2009.

Thanks for your understanding.
