Hi there, I agree to all of there thoughts, i.e. that re-certification should reflect continuous education better that it does today. Additional aspects might be contribution to FOSS projects. We would however have to ensure everything stays "measurable" and comparable. After all, a certification is about a defined level of knowledge which somehow must be balanced over all possible ways to archive and maintain a cert.
