Hi,

I am going to teach LPI-2 to a class in a few weeks so I am reading
through
the objectives and I got a question about 204.2.

Under 204.2 Adjusting Storage Device Access "Key Knowledge Areas"
it says:
"Tools and utilities to manipulate or analyze system resources (e.g.
interrupts)"

I guess (e.g. interrupts) means /proc/interrupts even it is not mention in
the
"Term And Utilities".
My question:
Hasn't the BIOS correctly automatically assigned interrupts to hardware for
many years ?
Is the interrupts assignment under the OS control in a modern computer
anymore ?

Regards
Martin M. S. Pedersen
