Well, I remember a story. Some time ago there were some guys. They were admins. These admins started developing a new OS. And for this OS they developed a new language. And then they wrote the new OS in that language. The names of those admins are/were Thompson, Ritchie, McIlroy and also others like Kernighan. I don't know how you think about it but I think that's something to keep in mind. Today I see a lot of "lightweight admins" only capable to use Docker. I think we lost something. Somewhere. And LPI is some kind of weapon to fight against it. Frank PS: In the past years I asked about a new LPI certification for "development". But currently it "doesn't fit well".
