That's what I said ("if you want to ask because it could be useful
later"), perhaps not clearly enough (sorry for my poor english).
Hence why Vi and Sed should always be in LPIC-1, until Busybox and
common emergency utilities support more on most (if not all) major
distributions.
Yes but still I don't see why vi (sed is not in 103.8 and is not
concerned) should be weight 3 when text filters are 2, apart the reason
given by Anselm (a rite of passage). What's needed for emergency rescue
(and as general common knowlegde) is just basic editing, so a weight of
1 is more than enough.
