There's also this from March, 2020: https://www.lpi.org/articles/join-your-community However, we've been avoiding building up anticipation for the membership program and governance changes on purpose. We have almost 200,000 people that are eligible for membership. Having them all sending "is it ready yet?" emails or everyone trying to all sign up the first week would be painful. The plan is to send a direct email to every certification holder (that we're allowed to) over the next few months, including as we add support for languages other than English.
