Hi,
here are my 2 cents:
https://wiki.lpi.org/wiki/LPIC-2_Objectives_V5.0#Objectives:_Exam_201 <https://wiki.lpi.org/wiki/LPIC-2_Objectives_V5.0#Objectives:_Exam_201>
201.1
remove rmmod, insmod because modprobe can do better
remove udevmonitor - udevadm monitor can do

I totally agree

201.3
remove GRUB Legacy
Since master boot record is covered, also take GPT.

I totally agree too.

GRUB Legacy can't be practiced on major professional distributions today, so can you imagine to ask any sysadmin about that in 5 years or more?

202.1
remove this topic completely, because it is covered in
LPIC-1 already (except automount).

Again, I totally agree.

Maybe we should add `systemctl daemon-reload` in LPIC-1?

203.1
partition type 0xFD
are partition types still relevant and why?

204.1
remove iwconfig and iwlist, outdated

Again, I totally agree.

204.2
remove nmtui, because nmcli should do

Well, in that case, if what is asked is to cite `nmtui`, it doesn't seem to be a problem.

204.3
is /etc/HOSTNAME still in use?

Looks like it is a symlink to /etc/hostname, now. So we could remove it.

205.1
remove compression tools as well as tar, because
handled in LPIC-1 already

So we may need to add some more precision for tar in LPIC-1.

205.2
remove rsync, no state of the art backup solution anymore
remove  Bacula, Bareos and BackupPC I suggest
to take borgbackup instead
remove references to magnetic tapes
remove dd covered in LPIC-1 already
205.3
remove htop, top is more difficult to learn but covers much more

And to had to this, `top` is always installed, not `htop`.

iptraf is the (almost) only tool mentioned to measure
network performance, are there other or even better tools?

`iotop` and `iostat` where referenced for LPIC-2-v4.5.

netstat is deprecated

Again, I totally agree

Best regards,
Werner
