Yesterday was a very busy (and long) day. The item writing staff began by writing incident stories from their experiences as Level 2 Administrators that were related to the objectives. From this, they wrote sample items that were associated with their incident stories, and discussed writing style, content, and various item development. We next began actual item writing, working on DNS, Filesystem, File & Service Sharing, and Hardware items. Today, we are finishing hardware, Kernel, Mail & News, and Network Items. Afterwards we will be reviewing the previous day's item development. Last night we had a productive social evening. The group held a pizza/pool party social with the local area LUG members. Current headcount (that we remember) was a total of 42 people. Many individuals got to talk to Julie about their thoughts on certification as well as marketing to geeks. Without getting into too many details, it was a good time :-) And a *lot* of pizza :-) Will update you tonight on today's developments. Development is going well and we are on schedule. -- Kara Pritchard Phone: 618-398-7360 Author, RHCE Exam Cram Director of Exam Development http://www.lpi.org/ Site Manager http://www.LinuxUsersGroups.org/ -- -- This message was sent from the lpi-examdev mailing list.
