Yes this is possible.  It will be taken care of on your print server. 
But this is hardly the venue for these questions.  Pls read the man
pages for syslog.conf, syslogd, etc.  You can do this with _any_ Linux
or Unix distro (freebsd, any Linux distro, HP-UX, AIX, Solaris, and
probably any of the other over 100 unix variants).

Once you decide what you want to use (RH Linux, Debian Linux, etc.) then
I suggest you join a users list and ask there or with the distros tech
support (but you'll probably get better answers from a users list).
